The Fireside Ground Ember Mat is designed to add a layer of protection from the popping embers and ashes around your raised fire pit or grill. Team the Ember Mat with the Fireside Heat Protection Shield (599676) for the best results when lighting a safe and toasty warm campfire. The Ember Mat features double-coated silicon making the mat easy to clean, with reflective edging for high visibility at night.Compatible for use with the Fireside Portable Pop-Up Fire Pit - or for fire pits that have 25cm air space between the base and the ground. This product is designed to use with low profile fire pits or BBQs.Please note that the mat is heat resistant and is designed to catch popping embers; it will not prevent heat transfer to the ground. For non-sensitive surfaces like concrete or dirt, allow up to 25cm of airspace between the base of your fire pit and the mat. Use in conjunction with the Fireside Heat Shield for best results.
